I stand corrected!

Wow. I must apologize. I made a mistake this past Wed (July 16) night. Spencer, thank you for calling me out on this one.

Basically, I said that the 144,000 sealed Jews in Revelation chapter 7 might not be believers.

Sorry. That does not make sense. They would have to be believers, or shall we say Messianic Jews. Every commentary I consulted on this agrees that these are 144,000 Jews who convert to Christianity (which, technical side, is why the idolatrous tribe of Dan is not included).

So, I am sorry that I mislead you all on that point. It is great, though, that you are thinking about the lessons after we dismiss on Wednesday nights!

Entering Warp Speed!!!

That’s right!

This summer was off to a slow start, but now….entering warp speed!

Wednesday, July 9, we will have our MegaWed from 4-9. Join us for games, fun, food, picnic supper, Bible study, etc.!

Sunday, July 13 we will have a church picnic at 5.

Sat, July 19, we will have our Guy/Girl Event

Tues, July 22, we will head to King’s Dominion

Wed, July 30, we will have a wet night for Youth Group. Come dressed to get wet (not soaked, but wet; modesty please) – the usual water balloon toss type stuff.

Then, we are off to camp Aug 2-9th.

That’s right, we have something going on practically every week this summer. Come join the fun!
