This morning’s devotional from our books focused on 1 Chron. 16:1-11. In that passage, we see David encouraging God’s people to:

Oh, give thanks to the LORD!
Call upon His name;
Make known His deeds among the peoples!

Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him;
Talk of all His wondrous works!

Well, we are finally going to do it!

We are finally painting the Youth Room. Thanks to all who helped to select the color.

Here’s the Plan:
We’ll meet at the church on March 15 at 9am to paint
We’ll finish prepping: taping up things, laying tarp on the ground, etc.
We’ll paint the walls, trim, etc.
We’ll do some additional changes in the room:
We’ll hang a battery operated clock
We’ll redo the corkboard
We’ll hang new tack strips
We’ll rehang the whiteboard
We’ll let Ashley start on the mural
And…a surprise you will find out about on Wed, Mar 12.
At Noon, we’ll have lunch
Then we’ll see about helping with the Egg Hunt
If there is any more painting to do, we will do it after the egg hunt.

I am really looking forward to seeing the room all fixed up. Let’s all try to be a part of making the room ours!
