This past Saturday evening we went roller skating at Starland.

Besides Josh, it was all girls: Becca, Abbie, Kelsey, Katie, and Madison. Though the girls outnumbered, we all had fun.

This was Josh’s first time on roller skates. He found them to be quite different from the ice skates he was used to. But, eventually he did get the hang of the skates, zooming around the rink like a pro, and only falling 10-15 times (just like ice skates, huh, Josh?).

Everyone seemed to have a blast, without any major injuries (nor blisters, huh, Madison?).

Josh had a piano recital the other day.

He did exceptionally well considering his piece was more difficult than many of the others. Also, this was his first year of piano.

Unfortunately, he did not get the top pick.

I’m sure he will do better next time!
